Stefan Heilemann was born 1974 in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany.
For many years he has worked as an art director in different advertising agencies. Meanwhile he became a self-employed freelance graphic designer.
Since five years Stefan Heilemann is intensively involved with photography and defined his personal artistic style up to perfection.
Stefan Heilemann’s photographic paintings are a symbiosis between fantasy, reality and insanity.
With neverending inventiveness he takes the viewer in a previously unseen and bizarre picture-world which reminds on both fairy tales and nightmares.

With his unique style he creates pieces of bewitched beauty which statements mostly touch the beholder to the guts.
Stefan Heilemann sketches his ideas first. Nothing is impossible to him – by working with his models on the even smallest possible space and most modest circumstances he transforms his basic concepts and ideas up to his high expectations and full advantage. With a very advanced editing and skilled fine-tuning he creates a fantasy world which showes the human ups and downs to the beholder.
Up to now many magazines and sound recordings carry his distinctive signature as well as other media sectors, such as music videos.
